Great post. I totally agree, couldn't have said it better. You are right, the fact that anyone is even watching your video is amazing, I never thought of that. Every once in a while a comment comes in too!2 things:
1) Gratitude. Do you realize how tremendous it is to even have ONE person care about your videos? That's nuts! That's a whole human being that thinks "this person makes good content". I think that's something we forget because we compare ourselves to the people with millions of subs
2) Love making content first, growth second. If you enjoy making vids, even if growth is slow, you still win because you had fun doing it.
Hope that helps!

I'm glad I got back into making videos, I really kind of missed it while on my 6 year hiatus.
Quite honestly it's something that I think everyone feels. I know I still feel it from time to time. One thing that I also do to keep my motivation up is to remind myself of this:
When I'm 90 years old and looking back on my life, I don't want to have the regret that "oh I wish I had given my YouTube channel more effort". On the flip side, if I do give YT my 100% effort and I DON'T make it big, I'd like to have the thought at 90 years old that "man at least I gave it my all, I have no regrets"
This!
You need to think within the long term. Never the short term. It's rare someone has millions within a year or 2. It takes dedication. And you don't want to look back and regret it!
