Likes and dislikes

So I've had my channel since April and have uploaded 2 videos and currently in post-production on my third video. The first video caused a lot of controversy because of the shot at the end where we sprayed over someones graffiti work. I posted this picture on instagram saying something a good day filming etc. I've deleted the pics now because they were causing way too much trouble from what it was actually worth. Anyway I had graffiti artists around Sheffield saying they're going to keep an eye out on me, jump me or whatever, even though what we did wasn't even that bad. I could talk about this topic for ages but I don't want to go into much detail.

ANYWAY, I posted the video and it was my first video on my channel and has 10 likes and 5 dislikes, which isn't a great ratio, but I feel this is the best video considering it was only filmed and edited in a day. I turned the dislikes and likes off because I didn't want people to see them and they might not watch the video because of the ratio, and people can still like/dislike but I can still see. My question is, should I turn them back on because I might get more likes? Its doing okay because it has over 300 views and 17 comments (but I've been interacting with everyone who leaves a comment). Its just a bit disappointing seeing people hate on my work even though what I did wasn't even that bad, considering we did it in a place where its legal, and graffiti is a thing thats changing all the time. Also the guys work that we did it over said he really liked the picture, follows me on instagram etc. Its just the ones whos looking for trouble. Thankyou!

I can see why people would dislike you tagging over someone elses work, specially if they have put time in it and yours is not adding anything good to it.

TL;DR: Don't tag others 'art' if it is not an improvement.

All the work in that place has been over someones work, so thats going to get tagged over soon and I'm pretty sure it has already. Its the same with Banksy and King Robbo's work. Obviously if it was on the streets I wouldn't do it, but in a building where its legal, theres no harm. Considering that piece has been there for a while, they have their pictures and etc, and its just a word over a bit of it, so we get all this hate for nothing..

if thats the case, as you stated above, then I see absolutely no reason for the hate unless they are politicians :P
but then again, there are always fanboys and haters. we just can not escape them.

Haha I'll be very surprised if they are politicians! One day we shall live in a world without haters..
