Let's Play vs Let's Roleplay, which is more entertaining?

Hello everyone, just wanted to open a small discussion about the entertainment value of both formats, playing and roleplaying. Personally, I enjoy a mix, and sometimes more on the roleplaying side, like yogscast will in his fallout series where he is in character or rycon's roleplays. Something about these type of playthroughs are interesting compared to the typical let's play. What about your opinions? I would love to hear them.

Having been a roleplayer for many years now I do enjoy me some roleplaying...but it depends on the caster, how good they are at it.
I'm not really looking for it specifically though, as I personally prefer the "meta" playthrough of the game.
