Keep Every Fan Entertained

As the title suggests, we should everything in our power to keep our fans entertained. Even if that means making videos that the majority of our subs dont really watch; if even just 1 sub is consistently watching said video series, we still must pander to them. If, say for instance, my minecraft series isnt as popular as my i wanna be the guy series, I'll still do the minecraft series because of 2 reasons; someone is watching it, and i enjoy doing it. Even if it really is only 1 person watching it, every subscriber matters, not just the majority.

I defiantly second this! I actually have a very good example of this on my channel atm. I have been asked by a good handful of people that they would like me to play clash of clans. (as im a mobile gamer) I put a poll out on twitter and 56% said the videos would be boring. 44% wanted to see them, i think in total there was 50 votes so thats still a good 20 people wanting to see COC so i recorded and uploaded.

You will never make 100% of your subs/views happy with every video you make. I try to be versatile and keep every fan/sub/view happy when i can.

Exactly. Even if 1 person said they wanted a COC series, you'd still do it. Plus its not like youd be losing anything out of it right? If anything, you can do a coc for that audience and a 2nd video for the others so they'll still have something of yours to watch that day

Exactly! That way you keep all viewers entertain and hopefully keep up video retention and gain a few extra subs interested in that series!

You just need to be careful that if you start boring the majority of your subscribers they will leave.
Yes I agree with this. You need to cater to all audiences, otherwise some will just unsubscribe and not enjoy your videos, which I assume you want everyone to be doing.

It's sweet what you're trying to do but I would take care with that. I know you don't want to let down that one person but you might let down a whole bunch of others. It's already very time consuming to do YouTube videos in the first place. So I would suggest do create the ones you enjoy doing and which the majority of your subscribers enjoys. I think it makes more sense to play/record a game a lot of people enjoy versus one that only one single subscriber wants to see. ;)

Update: In the end you cannot please every single subscriber for every single video. It's just not possible.

I kind of disagree with that !
If your channel is growing you should first please the majority !

When your growth become more stable, then start to please everyone (but in fact, it will be a mission impossible)

I record my gaming videos so many times and choose the best video to be included in my combined video. So I dont want to annoy the audience, neither I want them to unsubscribe, that's why I work harder to maintain my statistics and get to new goals.

I've always been of the mind set that you should keep yourself entertained and that will keep your audience entertained. I've sometimes made videos that I know the majority of my audience will like but it was painfully obvious that I was phoning it in. My heart wasn't there. But when I do videos that I want to do and keep myself entertained? Yeah, the views aren't that good but those who watch it know that it's better than what the majority wants. It's impossible to keep all of your fans entertained but it's easy to keep yourself entertained.
