Basically I find it impossible to not have fun doing it. You get to play videogames as much as you want while also making money. (if you're that successful that is).
Well I always used to get these moments while just playing games, like a really cool idea - or I capture an amazing moment with friends or something, and be like : "Why don't I put these clips and ideas somewhere?" When I first started I just said "hi I'm SelfDestruct and I'm excited to bring you my first video" and just left some gameplay and it got like 350 views. I don't know where the views were all coming from, but I just kept doing it and now I'm nearing 200 subs. Its easier to speak when you don't have your face in it, because you can make a small script, or you can sit in an extremely comfortable video while commentating. It is especially fun when you can just play for hours with your headset on, and at the end, just pick lots of little clips and compile them together. Imagine you went out somewhere and did your favourite thing, and then everything you enjoyed most about the day was shared to youtube? Easy, right?
I think maybe because by them making videos people who don't play the games or who want to play the games get to see what they're like. Plus gaming channels are just funny and you don't have to think of what to do in the video, you just play the game and upload it xD
idk that's what I think cx
I would say there are a lot of people that grew up and still play video games today. When you put something you love like that on a YT channel you have a huge amount of passionate content to make on YT.
