Just been hit by a bot..

I hope so! I sign up to a lot of forums to promote my videos, it could be possible the embedded video which I linked has been lashed onto.. I have learned the hard way!

Firstly it was a fairly old video with total views of 150ish so I wasn't expecting any further increases. When I was doing my daily checks on my video manager this morning I noticed this particular video jumped to around 13,000 views with no likes and no comments.. I assumed from reading posts on here that I was botted of some kind, I didnt want to take any risks so I removed it and in the process of re-uploading as I speak. I checked my stats to see where it came from but it hasnt been updated yet, I will come back when it has been updated.

My advice would be to re-upload, if the same happens give it a couple of days and try again, because you never know, this could come back to haunt you.

It would appear one of my latest videos has been hit by a bot..

Lucky for me I don't enable monetisation on my content or I could have been blacklisted on adsense. my question is would it be best if I take down the video and reupload or, because it's an old video just ignore it?

I have hopes of joining a network in the near future and don't want anything to look 'fishy', I am 99% certain re-uploading might be needed but wanted your advice first.
My videos views have been getting a little suspicious so I only enabled monetization on "Monetized Platforms" so views from Mobile/Unknown aren't monetized because %90 of my video traffic is mobile on one of my videos which is odd.

I always watch videos on my tablet and browse on my laptop, but 90% seems high

Serious question...what the hell is the point of botting someone I don't get it. Like getting one channel removed from youtube doesn't make up for the 1000 channels made in the time it took you to bot one channel.

Wow! I can't believe that there are people out there who would sabotage someone else's videos like that. What are they hoping to achieve?
