So I live out in the country...we have wireless internet, which is light years ahead of what it used to be, but it still doesn't have amazing upload speeds. My main channel vids usually are short, 2-5 minutes, so it hasn't been an issue, until recently when I started my gaming channel.

I do batch uploads on my gaming channel. So, like right now, I have 6 gaming vids that I'm going to upload for the week, but since my internet is slow I decided that I'd find somewhere that has hella fast free internet and go post up for an hour or so and upload my vids to YouTube. So if you don't know the fastest free internet that I've been able to find is at a hospital that just opened up a few miles from me. (Hospitals always have free fast internet fyi)

So I've been doing this for a several weeks now and I'm starting to get funny looks. I just walk in with my laptop, external harddrive, a coffee, and my threatening beard with me and I just chill in the waiting area for a bit while my vids upload, watch some other vids, check out ytt and drink some coffee.

But I've noticed that the lady at the front desk is peering over looking at me like I'm hacking their mainframe or setting up a bomb. I want to just go tell her what I'm doing since I'll probably not stop coming here...but, it's funnier if I don't. People walking through are definitely starting to recognize me, I just hope I don't see anyone I know walk through lol

Gotta do what ya gotta do for YouTube though :D

A guy went into the a and e hospital by mine last week with a bomb strapped to himself and tried to blow up the maternity ward. Maybe she heard about it and is getting paranoid

um holy s**t...i hope she doesnt think im really a bomber lol

did they catch that dude or what?
 
Yeah they caught him and the bomb disposal unit did a contained explosion of the device, no one knows why the guy did it or why he wanted to blow up the maternity ward :/ im pretty sure he was probably suffering from some sort of mental health condition.

But this sort of stuff happens around london more often then you think, im pretty sure out in the sticks is fine but some people get really paranoid from the mass media sometimes. It would be funny to see her reactions to you though haha i bet shes just baffled and thinks your a bit of a looney. But on the other hand if you tell her why your there she might sort you out with free drinks and stuff whilst you hang around ?

haha yea maybe I'll do that. I always like freebies haha...most hospitals have ice cream...I love me some ice cream
