I've been working on videos pretty much non-stop since I opened my channel, my next deadline for a video was going to be the 20th of November (1 week and a bit away), however I am probably not going to be able to keep that deadline at the minute because I couldn't get myself into the creative mood.
I was meant to start writing the next script last weekend and usually have them finished a day or two later (proof read thoroughly) and then by now at least 20% of the graphics for the video done with the possibility of a thumbnail being between 70% and 100% done. I found myself over the past week trying to figure out what the hell was wrong with me, why can't I just start the next video?
I've decided to take around a week and a half off to refuel, so instead of my channel banner saying "Cartoons:- New Video: 20th November!" it says "Storytelling through Cartoons".
I've listened to a few videos that teach the user how to keep an active audience, the big one is to release news videos on an even schedule, and I cannot keep to it for the next one.
I've pulled the deadline for the next video from being a permanent one to being a "If I get it done in time I will post it on the schedule" I don't want to rush it, the moment you start rushing something the quality may fall, and with my videos it takes a hell of a lot of work to get them done.
The good news is that I'm now writing the script for my next video, and I'm enjoying working on it. Maybe it's because I was getting worried that I couldn't work... I don't know.
I just wanted to get that off my mind.
Edit - As sad as this will sound, my life doesn't have much in it at the minute. When I make videos it makes me genuinely happy because I have something to put my mind to.
