its time all phones have ads on it

I'm not saying people shouldn't be making money from YouTube. I make money just like everyone else, but i'm not worried about how many views are being "wasted" because an ad doesn't appear.[DOUBLEPOST=1377899505,1377899432][/DOUBLEPOST]

No, I don't care about money. I can care less if I make $100 or $1. YouTube for me is a hobby, it's something I do for fun. Yes, I make money from my videos, might as well since it's a possibility. But i'm not worried about how much money i'm going to make, or how many views are being wasted due to ads not appearing.

I hardly ever even look at my earnings. That's not why I do youtube.

Righty ho.

ye but i learned thaat if i do something why not do it good if you have the possibility to make money, try to earn more

I'm not saying that you shouldn't be making money from your videos. If I said that, I would be a hypocrite because I make money from mine. But honestly why does it matter how much money you are making?

because if money wasnt important, many people would not die from hunger

Or you know, you could get a job....

YouTube is a place that you have fun and share with the world, not a place to make money.

i have fun and try to make money and it is a place to make money otherwise yt partners would not exist

I feel like you're not seeing what i'm trying to say.

I'm not saying making money is a bad thing. Yes, many youtubers make money from their videos. But when money becomes more important than having fun on YouTube is where it crosses the line. YouTube should be a place to have fun, and create content. Not a place for making money. Money is a bonus.

nicely said

Why does it matter how many times an ad appears on mobile? The only reason why it would bother you is if you are doing YouTube for money, which you shouldn't...

This + how about phones that are unable to access the internet (non-smartphones) lol.

Like I said, it only matters if you're doing YouTube strictly for money. I can care less if any of my views show ads on them. Just enjoy making videos, and not worry about the money. There is soooooo much more to youtube than worrying about how much money you're going to make.

If you're so bothered by it, disable mobile views. Then you don't have to worry about how much "precious views" are being "wasted".

I often wish mobile devices had ads on it and yes it is for the money. I do YouTube because I love it and am passionate about it. However, it IS my dream job. So I am doing all I can to make it happen. Right now we live paycheck to paycheck yet still have to go do extra freelance work to afford rent for our office apartment. If all of our views were monetized we could live a little better and not have to eat ramen for every meal. So although there is much more to YouTube than money. Some of us run a business off of it and need the money to live lol.
