Is vine going to take over youtube?

I highly doubt that Vine will take over. I mean look at websites like Vimeo. This website had a popularity time, but YouTube still reigns as the supreme! :D
Vimeo is pretty popular :P A 12th of YouTube's size or something but still that's pretty damn large.

To me it seems like youtube is just waiting for some competitor to come it and become the new youtube, making stupid changes and forcing users to that god awful social network, If someone makes a better video sharing site I would gladly switch[DOUBLEPOST=1396013928,1396013889][/DOUBLEPOST]
They're actually is a way for comers to make money, they get paid to promote products.
Google+ is good though.. Needs some work but is better in ways and more potential than Facebook.

I'm starting to think you have a really big grudge on popular people. Anyways no it won't, its like a mini YouTube. Why do you think people like Nash moved to youtube?

If Vine took over YouTube I would just sit there and laugh for hours on end.

6 second videos will never compete with youtube. Although they're very funny and I watch them on my facebook timeline most days, but the things that are on youtube would never be the same if they where in 6 second videos.

YouTube is way too established, plus the level of quality keeps advancing. Vine is nothing more than a novelty. Facebook is insanely uncool today - Vine will be there possibly by next year.

I think Vine could reach the status of a site like Vimeo, where it acts as an alternative for YouTube. Where Vimeo is more for film makers, Vine would probably be more for short comedy videos and would end up aimed at a younger viewing audience. It would be a niche, whereas YouTube covers a larger spectrum.

I don't hate people because their popular, I hate the popular ones who are famous for stupid reasons, and Nash does use youtube too. And I don't like g+ because none of my friends use it[DOUBLEPOST=1396030151,1396030000][/DOUBLEPOST]

Yeah, I actually think vine might be helping youtube, because famous viners send their fans to ymtheir Youtube videos[DOUBLEPOST=1396030531][/DOUBLEPOST]

I heard vine is coming pie with their official web version site soon so it might happen.. But I hope if doesn't happen. Because all my fans are on youtube and I would hate to start over on a new sitesite

I've noticed that vine has recently been getting a lot more popular, youtube is spammed up with a ton of vine videos. Are people eventually going to completely stop/barely using youtube and only watch vine? It would make since if that happened, vines are short funny and get the point across, which you would otherwise have to watch a 2 minute video with a long a** intro and a bunch of stupid things leading up to that one joke to make the video longer I guess. What are your thoughts on vine? I personally hate it, it's filled with nothing but those vine boys (like Nash, cam, jack&jack) that are famous for their looks, only putting out s*itty worthless content that's not even the slightest bit funny.

Even though I like lot of the funny videos there. Nahh! 6 secs is way too short. Vine will fade away with time. YT is and will always be BOSS.
