Is my audio still terrible?

I can hear quite a lot of reverb I think... It sounds like you're sitting in an empty room, apparently you can get stuff to fix that.. If you are in an empty ish room.. Some kind of sound absorb and board stuff.. Had a conversation with my brother about it recently, might be worth a google...

Audio was quite bad,better than mine, but not great, good voice though, defiantly not boring.

What type of mic are you using? also windows can cause a bit of "echo" sound especialy if they are single pane. Try covering the windows with a thick curtain and closing the doors. Also It sounds like you are using a web cam mic or a stage mic? If your looking for better quality I would go with something like the Blue yhetti or for a better price get the Blue snowball (I use the snowball) These style mics will pic you up at a decent distance still but not sound so "echoy" One downside to getting thick curtains and closing the doors is that you will need more light for your camera shots. I would play around with it a bit. Another good fix would be to just put cardboard in the windows and close the doors in that room. Also remember the bigger the room the more powerful the echo sound will be, but a decent mic will help eliminate that. Hope this was helpful!

Thanks for the feedback, more DIY-ing is required by the sounds of it - at least my voice isn't too boring though!

Thanks for the sub (and feedback), it means a lot! I'm actually in a...and whisper it so as not to break the "studio" illusion...garage. I haven't got any windows to contend with just walls but i'm definitely going to look at a new mic or i guess a more extreme solution would be to pad the walls with acoustic foam.

Ahh.. so the feedback is metalic! you can line the sides that are out of site with cardboard (double it up for more effect) and then behind you I would get some decorative cloth to go over a single layer of cardboard. The door may still be an issue but you can set up a "divider" that could be removed when it is not needed. Acoustic foam is very expensive... If you need any more help just let me know. I edit 3 youtube channels atm and have dealt with all of these sound issues myself.

Thanks! I'll try those things and give you a shout if i get stuck. 3 channels!!! i find it time consuming editing one video a week how do you cope haha!

lol I stay busy... (and mostly because one of the channels belongs to my wife. :P )
 
There is a ton of reverb, try covering hard services around where you are shooting with blankets or something soft to help cut down on the reverb. Being close to a wall also increase reverb so think about finding a way to move away from the wall.
