Is Minecraft still a thing?

Of course I know minecraft is still a thing and I'm sure lots of people play it, but is it still a popular game? Ever since this channel went into film I haven't watched gaming videos like I used to. I feel like I'm a noob to the gaming community

Is it as popular as it was say 3-4 years ago? No, few games hold their relevance for that long. Is it still a major gaming force that sustains popular YouTubers and is still capable of launching people's careers? Yes. You have to look no further than the top 100 most subscribed channels to find multiple channels focusing solely on Minecraft content on that list.

hell yea its popular. It is one of the most popular games in the world and schools are actually implementing it into learning. So this will cause for a bigger minecraft community. But it has died down these past few years. Don't get me wrong it is still a huge game. but one thing that is really exploding is roblox. That thing is really blowing up right now.
