Is It worth starting a gaming channel now?

As long as you know what you got banned for and so know what to avoid - I'd just be echoing everyone here with my reply about if you enjoy it - do it!
 
Idk if it's as much about whether it's worth it, or not. In my opinion it's more like are you gunna have fun doing this, and do you want to make videos? Like ask your self, is this fun, and do I want to make videos? If both are yes then why not?
 
Just do it. And if you had that many subs before, I'm sure they'll find you and re-sub. BTW, why was your first channel banned or blocked?
 
If you do I suggest doing games people are not doing. Like until 2012 the gaming YT world was a lot nicer since people were not all doing either the newest games or CoD/Minecraft. You had a lot more diversity. I mean I plan to do all the Assassin Creed games at some point in between I'll do older games like Megaman Battle Network and some niche titles like Persona 4.

I do wonder how many YT gamers pick Minecraft/CoD and actually have fun over doing it for the views only. The way I see it people should do games they enjoy over the most popular stuff.

(Not bashing those titles just wondering)

I don't know about COD, but Minecraft lets you build whatever you want, so I can see how that kind of thing will get addicting. My girl does it for the fun since she keeps exploring and expanding her house each episode. Plus the loves the pet doggies she has now.
 
I have a gaming channel, but I just do it for fun when I have time.
There are so many now that it will be hard to stand out. The key is trying to find the twist that makes it different.
