Is it worth making a website ?!

I have a pretty small youtube channel with like 10 subs on it and i was wondering if it would help to make a website dedicated to my channel or if t was going to be a waste of time and money.
I would really like to hear your opinion about it and how i could make the website if it would help my chanel grow :)
 
Well you could go the free route and then losing money wouldnt be an issue, only time would be. Maybe try wordpress hosted or self hosted if you can afford a domain name and a cheap hosting package :)

yea but do you think that it may help even a little bit ? or is it just going to be another inactive site ? should i wait untill i get more subscribers (at least i am hoping to :p )
 
It depends how you use it, you could use it as a place to send your viewers to for extra help or more in depth content such as text guides on Windows help or tips and tricks for Windows optimisation etc basically if you can offer something valuable there be it information, freebies or whatever else then it can be a good idea. I wouldnt expect miracles right from the start. To be honest you could put your time in better elsewhere such as into branding etc

thanks :) i think i am probably going to be spending more time on branding and appearance of my channel in general as you said :)
 
Making a website is something I've been thinking about a lot lately. The thing is, I think it would be a waste of time to make it solely for a YouTube channel....especially if that channel is really small. I would think a website would cover all of your interests. Not just one...that being YouTube.

Honestly I wouldn't bother your getting a bit way ahead of yourself. Start by building a solid foundation of subscribers who always check back to your channel for videos. Once you do have maybe 100+ then that would be a good time to create a website. Your wasting money with zero traffic going through. I know YouTuber's with 3K+ subs who dont even have a website
