I've Got It
Haha i'm trying my bestNo i don't think that's the case. For example my first video had 700 views. It's all about marketing. You have to find ways to share your work and let people know of you!![]()

I've been doing youtube for about 3 months now and it not that hard it just depends on how much work and effort you want to put in. If you're just dropping bad videos then that doesn't take much work.I am kinda new to the forum and i started my gaming channel a few days ago.So i noticed that in the begging whatever you do...how good your content is you are not getting any attention from anyone... my story for now.I don't know maybe i am wrong or maybe some are lucky and other are not.Post here and tell me what you guys think
Many regards,
DimpitSoon

So it depends on the genre too? There are many factors into gaining subscribers. Your genre, video quality, update schedule, and personality affect your the amount of subscribers. My genre is one of the smallest communities on YouTube. The top channel only has over 100,000 subscribers and many people channels in the genre have slightly over 20,000 subscribers. My potential to reach one million subscribers is not possible because the community is too small reach mega numbers.
Lol i love idubbz! He has this sarcastic humor i havent found in any other creator. M..m..m..money shotDoing a gaming youtube channel is so overdone that it's probably one of the hardest types of channels to get any recognition.
Unless you try something new or a different way of making videos (Like Idubbbz who started doing gaming then to unboxings) there is little to no chance of you making it past 1,000 maybe
This is awesome dudeCommon talk is that your first 100 is the hardest sub base to get, as you are a nobody entering a world full of well-known content creators.
To be honest the best advice I can give you is to not worry about numbers (views, subs etc.) and just focus making good videos that you enjoy. I've been doing that since the start of the year, and I've almost reached my goal for this year. I find that the less I care about gaining new subscribers, the more I get.
So the sub4sub is useless. You have a point here about.I don't know why this guy you are talking about has that amount of subs. The content is very important and i'm trying to make the viewer more comfortable but now with my a little bit old and it is hard that way.I can't provide smoother graphics..[DOUBLEPOST=1453211889][/DOUBLEPOST]I've been making videos for five years now over two different channels. The first one got to 900 but I was hellbent on sub 4 sub and it resulted in me having low views and few comments. My current channel has nearly 530 subs and it's taken 3 years to get there. I have had times where there will be very little movement on sub counts and other times I have a burst of them.
Building an audience takes time, I now have a small but loyal audience which i love and keeps me driven. Remember with youtube you only get what you give sometimes. You need to be as much a viewer as you are a content creator. Network and interact with other youtubers on a genuine level and this can bring traffic your way.
I know a youtuber who makes amazing content week in, week out, It's far better than anything I can make. He's been making videos for 2 years and has 96 subs but has very little interaction on any of his videos. I said to him "how is your networking going" and he told me he barely does any and spends all of his time putting his effort into making videos. I said he needs to start doing it but he refuses to even try. This guy is never going to get very far on youtube.
Minecraft is for 13 y/o and it's weird haha but yeah there are lots of ways and im still in the beginning and i don't know any of them.[DOUBLEPOST=1453226745][/DOUBLEPOST]Yes and no.
You have to be able to have content that does not have a terrible production(ipod in front of screen, no editing etc.)
If you find a right group of people and a pretty big community and record on that. They will all sub because everyone wants to be on youtube.
Lets just say for example a Minecraft server. Has a average of 30 people a day and is survival. If you make a series on that you would get around 50 subs in no time. They show to friends and they sub themselves. Everyone loves to see themselves on the screen!
This is not a cheap way out of it but there is lots of ways to get quick subs. You do reach peaks and are stuck and at that point you have to go on to other ways of getting subs or join other communities.
Recording with no advertisement will not get you subs. You need to find people to sub and advertise your channel. It is not hard but it sometimes is a push.
I hope soI've heard the first 20 or so is the hardest, but it gets easier after that.
