Is It Possible To Crack Into Being A Popular Gaming Channel Anymore?

i hope you see this post even if it's not related Some mistakes to avoid is : Do not delete your old videos for any reasons : i ve made this mistake back in 2012 and i deleted some top 10 accidents of saints row when it had 2000 + views ..i wanted to to change the content and start fresh ....this days it's hard to grow your channel because the market is saturated....actually the gaming channels is the second thing seen on yt ...even if you work hard on thumbnails or titles and everything you will suffer and the good thing is i guess some crappy channels will close and the small good channels will rise i hope

I believe channels about video game reviews will always have a chance of gaining success. People want to hear everyone's opinion on a game. A new channel needs to start with good quality videos and continue to improve in all areas.

i think this is maybe can happen when you work hard and gain a reputation and people will know you re on youtube making content and being consistent is a thing on youtube

So I have been making gaming videos for a while and I just got back into it. I make funny moments stuff and I think that I make a decent effort, but I can't help like feeling that I am trying to do something that is near impossible now. I think my content is good honestly, but I dont know. I know that I shouldn't have a mindset of getting popular, but not growing at all through the past few videos really made me think. Let me know your opinions down below.

This is an interesting topic and something I asked myself a lot when I started my channel. I think there is room for more successful gaming channels but the bar has been raised by competition, and the fact that many big channels have an advantage over newer ones in some regards (i.e. early access to games, production quality etc.) it's more important than ever that you find something unique that you can bring to the table. This could be your personality, or approach or style. I can see that you are into comedy and being funny in a video, I'd recommend exploring comedy as a craft and see if you can bring more to your videos in this regard. Personally, I don't watch commentary over gameplay videos because very rarely are people interesting/funny frequently enough to engage me. So I'd suggesting drawing from a large pool of footage and really scrutinize your editing choices so that it keeps people engaged. Wish you luck.
