Is Elgato Game Capture Worth the price?

I've Got It
At the moment I have an easycap capture card & it's ok, it does the job but the quality ain't so great :P So I am hoping to eventually get a better capture card to record my gameplay videos (on ps3). I hear that the elgato game capture is pretty good & people like Ksi & Calfreezy use it. It's over £100 so I just want to know if its worth the money really. If not then if you could recommend a cheaper or better option then that would be much appreciated. Thanks :D
 
I have heard from people that use it it's pretty good. I myself use Roxio HD PRO for a less price and think for that one the quality already is really good.

I use it, the quality is stellar, file sizes are small and it's nice and small so it's easy to store away.

Yes it is a really good device, very easy to use. Check out my YouTube channel all my vids are recorded with one
 
I've heard its really good and was initally going to buy one, but I couldn't afford it so I bought the next best thing: Roxio HD Game Capture PRO. Its $40 less and has almost the exact same quality.

But if you have the money I would recommend you get the El Gato. Stay away from Aver Media. The quality I've seen coming from their devices even in 1080p is horrible.
 
^ What they said, small, easy to set-up/use, very good quality (don't record in 1080p if you're on a PS3 though), small size (approximately 100mb per minute, maybe higher/lower, which is extremely small for HD). I'd highly reccomend it personally :up:... if you have the money
