Is a Pokemon Lets Play a safe idea?

((Just to let you know, I don't know anywhere else in the site I can post this. AND since it is something I plan to do in the future))

I'm wondering if it is moderately safe to do a pokemon lets play? I know that Nintendo has lessened their attitude on youtubers doing lets plays on their games a while, and I know that Pokemon is an official series for the Nintendo platforms. But since gamefreak is itself just a company partners with Nintendo, I was wondering if its ok for someone not in a video game partnership to do a lets play on a pokemon game.

All answers, or advice(if there is any) on this matter is most appreciated ^_^

I can promise you that it is safe! I have an entire pokemon Emerald LP up on my channel & haven't ran into a single issue. I should also point you towards two Pokemon LP'ers. Look at Thekingnappy, and HoodlumScrafty. They both have over 15k subs from pokemon let's plays. Also Chuggaconroy has a pokemon emerald LP with hundreds of thousands of views. I promise you're safe

Well, I also know big youtubers who done LP's on them. I was talking about if it was safe, since I ain't in a partnership with a videogame partner.

Depends what Pokemon game really. Nintendo doesn't care much about older titles.

I'm gonna do a game title in one of the first two Generations of Pokemon. Meaning it'll be on either Pokemon Red, Blue, Yellow, Green(translated), Gold, Silver or Crystal. Since the games are obviously not factory made anymore, it'll hopefully be much safer.

Yea, I had a feeling that old school games weren't that big enough to take down. But like said previously, I'm a worrylot. And thanks for your response!
