iPhone recording better then my 300$ Camera! (Question too)

I was wondering if I record something with my iPhone wont the crop look weird on the YouTube page? or will it look normal. Because my iPhone records higer quality then my 300$ Nikon Coolpix Camera.

If you record with the normal camera, it should look fine if it's on landscape (Not up and down, this causes black bars on sides of videos).

If you record with the front facing camera, it will usually add black bars to the side of your videos (Unless you crop them via video editing software), but the quality is low.

hmm okay so use the iPhone in landscape not portrait? and there will be no black bars

Yep! If you hold the phone up and down (normally), it will create black bars. Which looks bad, and bugs A LOT of people. If you record landscape, you should be fine.
