Iphone 4s Recording

I've Got It
So at the moment I was thinking of starting to put my face in my game videos, I was wondering its it worth using my 4s to record cause I'm trying to save up for a decent camera or should I just wait ??

If you use the back camera, it should come out fine. If you use the front camera, make sure you have good lighting or it won't look as good.

I thought about doing it as well on my gaming channel, but i'm not sure yet.

Tbh the camera on the 4s is good so I don't see why it wouldn't be a good long term solution also. It's easy to use and easy to transfer, I'm not too sure what the mic is like though but you could definitely get away with using it.

Yeah I was thinking along similar lines. I'm looking into getting an iStabilizer and tripod for my iPod because it does record in 720p so I figured it would work fine and I would align it with the audio from my mic.

Yeah. I think you'd be fine. The camera is actually really good. And like KGATV said, the back camera is going to be higher quality than the front so you may need to play around to position yourself correctly if you use that.

The iPhone 4s has a great camera - its fine for YouTube IMO.
I used to use mine for recording for about a year and it was fine, no issues at all, and full 1080p. One thing to note is an external mic is desirable. I have an iPhone mic adapter that I had imported from the US, and I can use it to connect my external lapel mic - works perfect.
Couple it with a tripod, an iphone tripod adapter, and a video light, and you have a pretty good YouTube setup - and its all cheap stuff as well (except fo rthe iPhone of course!).
