Intro or no Intro?

I don't know if I should put an intro in my videos since I like it when a video gets straight into the action but a good intro can also add extra professionalism too. What would you say in the matter?

No, outtros are best.
If it's 1-3 seconds okay, but even those annoy me tbh.

It also depends on the type of video, for example, the one in the video on my signature is longer because it's more of a show that I do, whereas if it's a gaming video it might be best to be a little shorter

It needs to be short, 5-7 seconds, and it needs to surve a purpose. It needs to stand out, because if its just for branding, then it cant be similar to all the other thousands of intro that are out there. Make it something that is related to your channel.

Do what you feel. I personally like intros cause I like to know what I'm watching, and it associates you with the video. You get a little more known if people see that it's Jak6Jak's gaming video than just 'oh, it's some gaming vid'. I guess it depends. If you want it to be some kind of show or series, then intro, if it's just a random like 'me and my friends acted stupid over XBox Live one afternoon and decided to record it' then you don't need an intro.

No intros. I'm not into the world of gaming but I don't find intros appealing at all...well, ok, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit, but usually I prefer youtube videos without an intro.
