Whichever one we are talking about, here's my opinions on length;

Intro Trailer - Around 1 minute seems to be the perfect length I think.
Intro for videos - I feel like anything less than 10 seconds is good for intros. Anything longer and I'll get sick of the intro pretty quickly lol.
