Increase Your Subs with Social Media

WHAT TO DO?
Connect all you social media together. Obviously Tom... Let me finish! I don't just mean link your YouTube to your Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook and Instagram. Be active on all these sites, especially the ones that are doing well.

My Instagram Success
I have just broken 27,000 followers on Instagram, because I interact with everyone on there.
If I post a photo, then I click the hashtags I've tagged and I'll ponder through the photos under the Hashtag and like, comment maybe follow the people who have posted them... They may return the favor!

Then I started posting photos saying 'check out my latest video', then looking for hashtags that are linked to my new videos... Like, Comment, Follow, People interact and come see your Instagram... AND YOUR YOUTUBE!

And it works the same on my Tumblr, and my Twitter. Don't be afraid to interact!

It may look annoying in videos, and you may feel a fool doing it... But if you get people to comment on your video, there comment may pop up on there twitter feed (It's been shared). Tell people to like your video, they're more likely to do it. If you annotate your videos, people are more likely to interact with them. but don't overdo it, it becomes annoying.

There is only one section I haven't mastered, and that is facebook... I cannot work out how people get so many subscribers on Facebook... I've tried it all... If anyone knows... Let me know!!!!!

I have the hardest time with the "like comment share" thing, if you've ever watched my vlogs its apparent i have a very unusual vibe to how i do things, I almost try to come across as if I'm barely aware I'm on camera, i kind of thrive on bizarre and confusing randomness and I just... If I ask people to do those things I feel like it breaks character, I become more "real" than I want to appear. I wonder if... Maybe I should find a unique way of wording it in text at the beginnings of the videos or something.
 
Actually I did tell people to share these videos with their cats at the beginning of my last vid lol not sure if that gets the intended result though..
 
Haha I am having trouble increasing my avg subscriber gain per day ;c However, i have recently been focusing on twitter and i think its paying off ^.^

If you have an average subscriber gain, I'd be happy enough! I go from getting 5 a week to 50/60 a week... Once you've got loyal subs, they'll share with their friends and it will just grow organically![DOUBLEPOST=1385823956,1385823796][/DOUBLEPOST]

Yeah I totally agree, don't break character, like I'm different on camera than I am in person, or on stage, but that's because I created an internet friendly version of me... someone who doesn't look a complete fool saying that stuff!!

You could always do it in post production? Add a title screen or an outro at the end saying 'like share and subscribe, watch last weeks vdieo' kinda thing? A bit like Troye Sivan does? and that is a pretty epic outro!

I was thinking about it, I think I may go to the annotation route :)
