iMovie Editing [QUESTIONS]

Hey everyone!
I edit my videos on iMovie, but have recently encountered a few problems,
and have just a couple of questions about them.

Audio/Music: Is there anyway to put music in your videos other then using iTunes music? I want to download royalty free music and use that, but the only option to add audio I can see is, is through iTunes.

If anyone has any answers to this question that'd be awesome! :)

I will go ahead and put this out there. For once I don't own a Mac I don't have that kind of money, BUT the thing about "Royalty Free" music is not that it's free of charge. It basically means "Pay me 10 bucks for a song, you can use it commercially via a license" now the songs that are "NoCopyright" are fair to use for now unless they get copyrighted later. See my point? Just saying you don't want youtube to screw you over later because something stupid happens.

I know I didn't exactly answer the question but I thought a warning about the term "Royalty Free" being thrown around a lot and people get in trouble for it often.

If you want to use other music what you can do is that you could create a playlist in iTunes and then take all the tracks that you downloaded and put them in that playlist. Than from iMovie you could go to iTunes under the music drop down tab and find your playlist, and with in that playlist you should be able to use any of the music that you put in to that iTunes playlist.

Keep in mind you'll want to keep the music files in one place before you do this or you'll have to go and tell iTunes where to keep looking for the files. I don't know if this answered your question but I hope this helps and this is what I do when it comes to music for my videos.
