I NEED SERIOUS HELP.

Anony Mouse

Loving YTtalk
Mental jokes aside lol.. I do really need help.

99.99 percent of my video making problems are caused by audio.

Recent example has happened many times. For this example I'll use Evil within.

I record the gameplay and mic and face webcam. I use OBS for recording both the webcam and the gameplay.

I use the mic to catch my voice and the sound from the tv speaker(not the best I know but I have been having too many issues and it seemed to work)

Down to my issue.

I record the game and everything else. Once I finish i watch the video in windows media player.

First 6 minutes are fine, then the whole things starts echoing, my voice, the gameplay audio, everything.

Why would it work for 6 minutes then suddenly change. (at the moment of change this time a lightning noise happened, is it possible that a loud noise set it off?)

I have tried getting help for this before but no one could explain why it worked for 6 minutes first. I could understand if the whole time it was echoing, but 6 minutes of working, and changing nothing, and then echoing out of nowhere for the rest of the video.[DOUBLEPOST=1417239725,1417237625][/DOUBLEPOST]Anyone?

It could be because of a loud noise setting everything out of whack. I say try another program. See if it does the same thing. If it does, it is the computer, but if not, it was the program.

I started to figure that too. It happened EXACTLY as the lightning in the game struck. possibly too much for the program to handle, setting off the echo for the rest of the gameplay.

I do have to wonder if it is the loud noise...
It seems very odd to me (I've never heard of something like this xD)

How loud, in comparison to the rest of the audio (You, the game background noise, etc....) would you say this lightning was? Never played Evil, so I have no idea.

Also, do you mind telling me what CPU you have, and possibly your sound card if you know what it is? (Totally fine if you don't)

Also, are you on a laptop or desktop?

ALSO!
What OS are you using? Does the video glitch out to?

I have a gen i7 processor with a geforce 770 graphics card/ i forget the rest of my specs atm lol. And the lightning in the video was fairly louder than the rest of the game (if you want to see , it's at around 6:18 or so in the chapter 2 video. exactly when it starts echoing. Desktop I'm using

Going to look at the video. Will be back to help more.

(Also, doesn't sound like it would be hardware problem from your specs. Very odd, however, as I've recorded with OBS and have had "Sudden sounds" [me screaming...] without issue)

EDIT:
Looked at the video, with the lightning, and wow. Good gameplay, despite the audio issues.
Anyway, what microphone do you have, and is it USB connected?

As a test you should get back to the point in game when it happened (the loud noise) and start recording a minute before.
If it does it again its the game making it happen, if it lasts another 6 minutes then does it it's probably the program or your PC.
