so i just monetized my channel and i have custom thumbnails which is awesome... one thing im worried about is how do i contact someone to use there content im a bit worried now my channel is monetized because i wouldnt want any strikes on my channel please help me guys.. no doubt you will these forums are the dogs bollo..... hahahaha thanks guys please help

Great! Now you can start earning revenue! :) What content are you using? I looked at your channel and if it's Minecraft, you don't need permission, just make sure that the content is YOUR recording and you HAVE to have commentaries(talking over while playing) on them. If you are really worried then I would suggest joining a network, since they have rights to whatever you might be uploading.

cool but if i was to use an uncopyrighted sound track from an uncopyrighted channel would be an infringement ... thanks for the help bud

If it's not copyright, then no, it would not be infringement since they haven't copyrighted anything on their channel. If it's music, I would put their channel and the soundtrack name in the description so you are actually giving credit where its due. No problem man! Always happy to help. :)

A good rule of thumb is to not trust these music YouTube pages unless you have directly talked to them. I've often seen music on these pages that call themselves royalty free but clearly aren't.

What I'd suggest is go onto google. Search royalty free music and see what you can find! If it is royalty free and you have the license to use it there won't be any issue!

However if you do know of some good royalty free music channels contact them and make sure that they are truly royalty free. If they created it from scratch and they give you permission then you are good to go.[DOUBLEPOST=1368293969,1368293668][/DOUBLEPOST]

You'll have it in no time, btw man I tried messaging you back but I can't till I hit 50 messages. Soooooo I sent you a response via YouTube.
 
Why do you need to use others content?
If you do upload the video then you can't gather any money because if you do then you are getting reported.
I would recommend you to contact them with the monetized account you have so they know what account you are going to upload the content on, get a copyright license.
