I have made a new banner, but it is way too big. My old banners were around 5mb, so I was willing so sacrifice some quality and jpeg compressed it. But this one is 15 mb AFTER PNG COMPRESSION. How can I reduce its file size without losing quality?

Also, what do you think of my new banner? Thanks!

that looks good but i am not sure, try find some file compresser program maybe? There is bound to be one

Thank you everyone :). I tried a few online compressors, but my original file size is too big, the file needs to be under 5mb on most websites to actually compress it. I am wary about downloading sofware I am not sure about, but I still looking around for some good ones.
 
Compression works best when many pixels are the same cool palate. It's very hard to squeeze down a PNG for this sort of thing though.

If you can reduce the number of colors, good. Otherwise, you're pretty much stuck with JPEG.

Would lowering the colour depth have a big impact? Currently it is 16 bit colour, I'll try 8 bit.

Ok I made it 8 bit, but it is still 6 mb.
8 bit channel art 2.png Is it a noticeable difference? I only notice some artifacts in the corners.

Wow, looks great. It is jpeg but not fuzzy like my other one. Thank you! How did you do it? Or is that a secret ;)? What quality level did you use for the jpeg (with 12 I got a 3.7mb file)?

EDIT: Youtube is mean to my art, makes it fuzzy >.< It is almost unreadable. Its ok though, thank you everyone for your help, especially @Nithlus for compressing it!
