The way my videos are set up, is how it was setup in my head while I was thinking about it.
I'm not sure if I'm Vlogging or doing something different.
I see it as a vlog but other people see it as just random videos about nothing that are kinda funny.
I need help on figuring out what my niche is or what it could be.
ALSO letting me know what could be worked on with my channel is a big plus...Don't sugar coat it.
(the videos I have up now are recorded on my laptop. I didnt use my main camera)

I would probably classify you as a general vlogger or a rant vlogger. Also I don't think there's anything wrong with your content ... I was entertained by the videos I saw. The only thing I see (which is something I'm way guilty of too) is possibly improving video quality.

Thank You so much for the feedback! Anyone else want to add anything?
BTW its funny that you replied to me. I just watched your ear wax drill video before posting this and found it hilarious!

Haha, thanks! :P Some of my vids are just kinda stupid, but I like that one, haha. I haven't made videos on that channel for almost a year, but I'm gonna start again this weekend, haha. But anyways, I don't think there should be any major things to worry about other than quality at the time being and you have a good amount of subs for only 17 videos! Almost to 100 :)

Don't call your videos dumb. Be proud of what you've created! I subscribed, i'm looking forward to that video this weekend :D!
Looks like I need to make a trip to amazon.com you guys hahaha

You're vlogging.

I see it as a vlog but other people see it as just random videos about nothing that are kinda funny.

Some people don't know the definition of a vlog.

I need help on figuring out what my niche is or what it could be.

I'd call it "gentle humor". Your video about unboxing the reflective light umbrella actually made me audibly laugh.

ALSO letting me know what could be worked on with my channel is a big plus...Don't sugar coat it.

1) As others have said here, you need to work on your video and audio quality. Search for video production how-to videos on YouTube and learn from others. Also, do NOT buy new. Always buy used. And remember that what the camera doesn't sees, doesn't matter. If you go on professional shoots, you'll see cardboard cut-ups, horribly-twisted wire coat hangers, and duct tape everywhere. Always try to figure out the cheapest way of doing something and do it that way. Thus only look for YouTube video production how-to shows that tell you how to do something as cheaply as possible. Never watch shows that tell you to buy new or only show you how to put together new equipment. For example, that reflection umbrella could have been done with a $1 umbrella from a thrift shop and a spray can of reflective paint. And don't be embarrassed that you're doing it on the cheap. Professionals will respect you more for doing so. Oh, and you can make a video about each such "monstrosity" you make. Your gentle humor should have a field day with such a topic. As you appear to be a comedian, I would suggest you even ask the YouTube how-to show creators if you can use their video clip in these episodes. You show a bit of their video and then insert YOU doing what they suggest you to do. You thus working step by step through their video with you inserting what you did for each of those steps. I'm sure you can see where such would lend itself to your style of humor.

2) For when you're not physically doing something somewhere else (just ranting), develop an interesting background. Think of your background as your co-host. Make it carry its own weight. But do not copy the backgrounds of other shows. Make yours unique. Also realize that it only has to be as large as what is seen on your video. Flat walls are best ... though corners give you a cozier image. If you use a corner, you'll need more lights to light it up. Then again....

3) Now that you have seventeen videos and thus been producing them for seventeen weeks, talk to local espresso cafes, diners, bookstores, grocery stores, auto repair garages, or wherever you think would be a cool place to film your show at to see if they would let you film your vlog in their establishment. Their establishment then becomes your background. Then ask if they would be willing to put up a poster (that you provide) that informs their customers that your vlog is being filmed in their establishment. Promise to only film during their slow period or, even better, when they're not open. If the owner, members of their family, or any of the employees would be willing to tend the cafe bar, grill, stock shelves, work on a car engine, or whatever they can do in the background while you vlog, that would be great and be sure to tell them that they can do so if they would like. That really adds to the production values of your background. Always give the establishment a plug at the end of your video. Ask the owner what s/he would like you to say for their plug. And once you land such a film location, write up a press release and send it to all your daily and community newspapers, local radio stations, and local TV stations!

4) Make up a poster advertising your show and post it all over your area. Be sure not to violate any local laws. Stop into your local police station and ask ... which should then help you GREATLY if you later get in a little trouble for posting in the wrong location. Be sure to get the police officer's business card so you can call him up if you ever do get into trouble so you can at least show you did try to find out what you can and cannot do as far as posting goes. Post your poster all over your school, church (if you go to one), bus stops, and any bulletin board you can put a poster on. Always keep some posters on you at all times and when you see a spot that you could put one up, put one up. Don't think you'll remember where that spot was later. Always be a prepared poster maniac.

5) Organize your video on your homepage so people can find the type of videos by you that they like. For example, if you have great fun and can do funny following-directions videos (as mentioned above), make that a category and even a regular part of your show. YouTube is stuffed full of how-to videos. You'll never run out of ones you can do. Thus you might want to put out two videos a week: your regular vlog on Monday and following-directions videos on Thursday.

6) Make a "welcome" video for your homepage. In it, tell the viewers what you're trying to do. This video will help eliminate the confusion that some of your viewers have been mentioning.

7) Google search for other YouTubers near you and talk to them about doing a collaboration video. If you can do #3, mention this to them since it will put you head and shoulder above other YouTube shows ... and probably even theirs.

8) After watching three of your videos, it appears that your humor is what is called gentle humor. What this means is that it isn't meant to be offensive in anyway. It seems to suit you so keep doing it. That and watch videos of the great gentle humor comedians like Bill Cosby, Jim Gaffigan, Bob Newhart, and Johnny Carson. Learn from the masters. But do NOT rip off any of their jokes. You do and your name will be mud among comedians. Instead, use their jokes to inspire you to come up with your own one-liners. Finding your comedic voice is one of the hardest things that comedians ever do. It takes some comics years to find and develop. And sub-par comics never do and thus never become great.

Good luck!

P.S. Your gentle humor is good. So good that I've subscribed to your show. ;-)
