Thank you. I'm more interested in figuring it out. Do people follow you on reddit like with twitter? Do you have your own pages?I personally wouldn't say it relates to youtube, youtube things get posted there but it's not for youtube
Basically people post things like on a forum, you have the option to upvote and downvote things, the things that get the most upvotes go to the top.. (you can choose how things get sorted but by default it's by votes), personally I change it to whats new so I can see all the things that are getting posted so I can decide if I want to up or down vote them
You can post pictures 1 but you have to upload them to an image sharing site and then share the link on reddit. As far as I know that's the only way to share images on there... as you can basically only share links and post worded threads on there
Just remember Reddit is a harsh place. If you post your videos in the wrong place or sometimes even in the right place you're video many get hate and trolled... You need to build up a fan base on reddit to actually get a good reputation so people don't go hating![]()
I'm not too sure about these 2 things. You have a profile page where people can see what you've posted and they can also see your comment karma and vote karma but I think that's about it...Thank you. Thank you. I will be careful[DOUBLEPOST=1381624816,1381624775][/DOUBLEPOST]I have been posting my Tekkit series on reddit. There are a lot of trolls on reddit but overall, if you content is good, people will upvote it. I get 1-2 upvotes on my threads and a few comments giving solid feed back, its a gamble though, I feel the tekkit community he very helpful and don't really care for bringing people down, so I feel i am lucky. I have been getting a lot of solid advice and decent views from it.
Yeah I will check it all out and see how it goes. It a very different kind of socia media site. You're not officially supposed to post your own content over there, but everyone does obv, but just be aware of that. You should probably start off by commenting on other people's posts and then post a few things (not yours) that are relevant to whatever subreddit you're in.
In a way, it's similar to here - They don't like people just signing up, spamming their own content without contributing anything and then leaving.
Personally I don't particularly like reddit - It's so big and quite cliquey and as you say, it's all based on posting things, not so much about the discussion.
Good luck!
