I get a somewhat good exciting feeling for gaining just 1 subscriber
Same here, it happened a few minutes ago and I was like "whoa".
Stupidly I sometimes feel a little uneasy that I'm going to let my audience down with the videos I upload in the future. But I just got to trust they subscribed because they like my videos and will continue to.
I'm sure they did and will! I think a fair number of my subscribers subbed in the hope that I would back, which is annoying, but I guess that's the same with any channel. My music ones also get significantly more views but gaming is hard to get noticed in so I don't mind that as much.
Not really. Most of my views are not from subs so they are mostly irrelevant to me. I only really notice two people who are subbed to me actually make comments
Ah you've just gotta keep at it and reply to those comments, even asking them to throw a sub your way. Most people comment on my videos saying stuff that they liked about it so I always thank them, say something maybe about why I did that bit they liked, then say like "if you like, throw a subscribe my way, there's plenty more where that stuff came from" or something like that. You'd be surprised at the impact that can make!

Exactly! Any increase, no matter how small, gets me mega excited and keeps me thinking positively about my content. Sometimes I get thinking "should I keep doing this?" but then I see increases in views and subscribers and I get right back on that train!

There is absolutely a feeling of excitement when someone new shows up! But most of us are smaller channels. I wonder if/when this feeling goes away. Does PewDiePie do a little dance when he goes from 29,756,680 to 29,756,681?
Haha I like to think he does. But I reckon his increase is so fast that there would never be a before/after difference of 1 subscriber.
