lets say you make 2$ per 1000 views from monetizable views (CPM), then the network + YouTube take a split of that leaving you with the RPM (Revenue per 1000 views)

I`d say a 3$ - 5$ CPM is normal is english speaking countries among most networks.
Maybe less in Norway.

And then how big the is RPM (Revenue per 1000 views / the money you actually get paid) depends on how big a split your network takes out of your cash :)

Exactly what Shane said. Do not tell them about not being able to monetize or they might get confused and think you have a strike against you.
