Huge jump in subs?

Hey guys, This past weekend I have had a huge jump in subscribers.

I was at 560 on friday and now i'm at 576.

I'm usually getting about 1 or 2 a day now so getting 8 a day really got me confused.

I looked at all of my videos and there was not an increase AT ALL in views on any of them.

Even my undertale video which was at a standstill since wednesday or so.

There is no notification on who is subscribing to me so it is probably hidden.

I did get two notifications on who some were and they were like

"John42435735" "AndyTw223415124"

I have NEVER used any weird viewbotting or sub things. That's garbage.

Anyone have an idea? Is this normal?

Maybe someone loves your channel so much that he made multiple accounts to sub to you with? That's the only thing I can think of.

They are really identical which freaks me out honestly.

Man I don't want anymore dead subs lol

I was more saying it's weird that the ones that were shown to subscribe to me are strangely the same.
 
Maybe one person noticed your channel and showed your channel to his friends or followers. There are just those lucky days I guess.[DOUBLEPOST=1457472135,1457472095][/DOUBLEPOST]Or you know, it's probably voodoo magic.

This normally happens to me when a video gets shared on a big site
 
Go to "analytics" click on "subscribers"
On top right change the date range to the day or days the subscriber count went up the most.

Then on the bottom under "source" click on videos

To be clear you are looking in analytics > subscribers > source > videos

Then it will show you from which video yhey subscribed from. It will give you an idea if they are mostly coming to you from one video, or not. If they are then maybe youve got a popular video that was shared or got a good ranking in youtube. Or maybe not.

If there is a popular video then click on that video name, and then from left menu click on "traffic sources" and from there you are on your own to click around to see where this new traffic might be coming from. To be clear you are now in analytics > "video name" > traffic sources

Maybe this will be give you some answers or maybe not. But it helps to look at this stuff and get more info.

Thank you! I looked and it still really doesn't make any sense but that's okay.

I guess it's whatever. lol
