How to set up automatic message on twitter

I want people to recieve a message saying something like' thanks for following' and put a channel link whenever somebody follows me on twitter. I get messages like this when i follow some people, how do i do this?

unfollowers.com is an okay site for this, but personally, i find this spammy to see in twitter DMs

If you read some of the messages you receive, there's usually a link to where they've come from. I agree with the above though, I'm not a fan of them.

yeah i get what you mean, since i posed this thread i have kind of thought this was a bad idea... I aint gunna bother doing it now but thanks for helping anyway
