How to properly promote your videos?

A way to promote your channels is through advertisement and collaborations with others! Check out the collaborations and meet ups forums!

Personally I try to get my content to as many sites as possible that allow it, and optimize the SEO as much as possible to try and kickstart the activity. Reddit has many different subs depending on the type of content you make, just needs some searching through it to find the one that fits your requirements. Do read the subreddit specific rules though before posting your content as some don't allow self-advertising and can consider it as spam.

I believe if somebody promote his videos in other social networks frequently (outside YouTube), this will affect his SEO very much. The best way to promote your channel and to get gradual increase in views rate is to think first how to build your own YouTube community around your channel. You can start by commenting on other channels and make loyal friends who will seek, comment back on your content at every time you upload from different locations around the world. Once you build your community, which require to be patient at the beginning, you will notice the snowball will start rolling over.

Ma'am are you sure reddit is nice? I haven't had good experiences there.
