How To Promote Easily WITHOUT Sub4Sub!

Hey everyone, I've thought of a different way we can help each other grow on YouTube .
If you like someone's channel, and they like yours, you can put each other in your 'featured channels' section. That way visitors to you channels will see the other person's channel as well. It benefits both people . I'm going to feature a few people on my main channel and gamers on my gaming channel. Anyone interested?

This isn't new, it's called Box 4 Box and has been around since the feature existed. I have to be honest though, I don't know of anyone who's ever gained traffic from a small channel as a result of this though.

We use it, I don't think it generates any traffic more than a few clicks here and there.
Here's an idea: since YT wants you to have longer session times, why not put in top channels in your category in there, in addition to friends channels. Random viewers are more likely to engage more with big channels hence increasing your session time.

Yeah this isn't really a new idea, but from what I have read it seems to do a little bit to help out smaller YouTubers. And by that like a sub every 2 weeks or so.

XD I feel like I suggested one thing and everyone jumped down my throat. Some of the people on this thread are ones to talk about promotion, since I've deleted spammy self promotion comments from my channel by them before XD.
