How to make an original gaming channel

Hey guys! So I have been watching a lot of tips for small channels on how to grow and I constantly see the "Original Content" comment. Before anyone's jimmies get rustled yes I do know that this is a big part of growing on YouTube I was just wondering how to do that for a gaming channel that plays horror games. My girlfriend and I record gaming horror videos so I think that in itself is quite original considering not many gaming channels are of a couple playing horror games but I was wondering if any of you had any tips on how to make videos more original! Thanks for the advice in advance!

Webcam bro! You need a webcam! :D I really liked your last video :up2: I was playing Outlast the other day and my girlfriend scared me as f*** :D got it on camera but I gotta edit that video

Next video being uploaded actually has facecam :) finally got that done! And that sounds f*****g hilarious I'll make sure to check it out!
 
It sounds fairly original for now. You can always just keep doing what you're doing and reading people's comments on how to improve or if they have any recommendations.

I can't really speak from experience as I'm a new tiny channel still figuring s**t out, but to me I think that personality is what makes your videos original, and the editing style, but obviously some videos don't need much editing if it's just a straight up playthrough. I find that I can watch the same game being played by several different youtubers, just because their personalities are all so different.

Just don't be afraid you be your complete self when recording your videos. I know it's easier said than done, I still feel awkward talking to a camera and an imaginary audience haha, but I think it becomes more natural over time :)

Thanks for the advice! And hopefully it does end up feeling more natural after a little more time!

This is actually pretty good advice! And I'm glad that there are people who watch several youtubers with the same playthrough. My gf told me the same thing but I didn't belive :D I guess people like different reactions from different people.
