How To Make 1Channel Banner Non-Pixeled ???

I uploaded my channel banner to youtube a few days ago as:jpg,png,psd. But it doesn't look good it looks pixeled ??? Compared to other channels : Barley Political , RomanAtwood , SoilderKnowsBest etc. (Their channel banners look not so pixeled) Can u help? plz !
 
It depends on the resolution you made it. If you made it small, and then stretched it to fill the dimensions, it won't look crisp.

It looks like anti-aliasing isn't being used. Or smoothing.
I've never used pixlr so I can't say much else.[DOUBLEPOST=1368979062,1368978942][/DOUBLEPOST]Also, pixlr only has dpi less than 100, which also cuts quality. (I use 300dpi in my images.)

any FREE suggestions on GOOD photo editors ?
