Hey everyone, I apologize if this is not the right place to post this question, but it would mean the world to me if I could figure this out.
I'm starting my YT channel and like everything, I can't start big (gadget wise). Sony Vegas Pro 13 and new computer, check. Capture card, check. Pair of headsets w mic, check.
This is where it gets tricky for me. I've seen that most people have a mic, whether its Yeti or some other brand. I have some ideas for what I want to do with my content and videos but I'm not sure how to mix them all up to get a final product. I'll be mostly doing console gameplays, so getting chat from me and others recorded is a requirement. My question or questions are how to do specifically, or do I even need the Yeti if my headsets have a mic ? I might be coming across as ignorant and I apologize if you feel that, but all I need is some guidance to help me put all the ingredients together.
Maybe I need some entirely piece of equipment altogether.
Thanks again for stopping by and don't hesitate to help me and/or ask me further questions please.
Have a great day !
