How to beat the Subscriber Plateau?

Hey YTtalk. So we've been making videos for a little while but we really started getting serious back in September with weekly releases. As soon as we started releasing weekly, our subscriber count started going up very fast. But for the past month or so it seems like we hit a subscriber plateau (one sub every now and then). So my question is, how do you beat this plateau and start getting that steady rise in subscribers again?

Promote your vids in anyway you can. Facebook and Twitter are good places to start

There are MANY places to promote your content. You can't have done all of them

What other places would you suggest to promote with? We have tried other places but they didn't generate much reaction. What has worked for you?

A tip for twitter, follow different youtubers on twitter and interact with them. They might check your content and give you a shoutout.

Here for a start You can promote in the Videos &Milestones area if you have a VIP Membership. You can use Tumblr,Squidoo,Pininterest, just to name a few I have also used Omegle as that is a good way to promote your channel on.

Been spending a lot of time on here trying to promote haha. Worked a little bit but it's still a tough time. Never would have thought of Omegle...maybe I should try that out haha. How did you promote on there?

I'd put a message out on there something like- "I am a Youtuber who is trying to get noticed.Please could you spare a sec to check out my channel? -channel link-." It's important that you have a conversation with the person who is there or they will think it is spam and skip it. You should also put "youtube" as one of the tags. You do get a few skippers but I just move on with it
