You would actually recommend a laptop for gaming?!I had done a bit of some research a while ago, and I know that Asus has some good laptops. Not sure if they'd be in your price range, but it's worth a shot

I meant computer, haha, sorry, I own a laptop, and my mom has laptop, so when I typed that I just automatically typed laptop.. I'm so used to them, haha. You would actually recommend a laptop for gaming?!
Ah, gotcha. Well I have a laptop too, but for gaming I have a desktop PC. They are just more upgrade-able than a laptop.I meant computer, haha, sorry, I own a laptop, and my mom has laptop, so when I typed that I just automatically typed laptop.. I'm so used to them, haha.
Yeah, that's true. Personally for gaming though I use a console (PS3), because I just think it's way easier and I don't understand enough about computers to game on expensive computersAh, gotcha. First of all, you're 14. When I was 14, I didn't have a "life." I went to school, I went home, I did my homework, read books, watched tv, went to bed. That was my "life." Secondly - what's wrong with being thought of as a geek/nerd? Geeks and nerds are smart and generally one day go to college and get good jobs (I did). I would think your parents would be thrilled if they thought you were a "nerd." Thirdly, it's been proven that playing interactive computer games is much better for brain function and development over passively watching tv shows. Mention that to your parents if they ask why you want a "gaming" computer.yes y??? im only 14 i dont have the money for anything and i dont want them to think im a nerd and a no life
