How stop Youtube's +1's?

(EDIT: TLDR; I want to stop +1 notifications on just that one comment without deleting it.)

As some of you may know I hate notifications.

I made a comment on video last month and have been getting Google notifications on my Youtube account of people +1-ing my comment. I searched Google and read that I should 'disable reshares' and 'disable replies', which I did but I am still getting those darn notifications.

Deleting the comment would solve the issue altogether but that means I cannot leave any comments on any videos without dealing with notifications like this in the future. Interesting enough, I don't see the 'delete' or 'edit' option anymore after disabling 'reshare' and 'replies'.

Yeah, it's not very user friendly in the way it does things. Disabling reshares and replies would only remove notifications for those things, not +1s. Try going to:
Your channel's Google+ Page > Settings > Under "Who can interact with you and your posts" > "Who can send you notifications?" and change it from anyone to something else maybe? That might help[DOUBLEPOST=1395895665,1395895643][/DOUBLEPOST]

I have always had both settings on 'anyone' because if I set it to anything else only certain people can interact with me on Google+ or reply to my comments.

In other words, I cannot change that setting without limiting interactions for people that matter (subbies that +1 my stuff, viewers with questions about my video, comments, etc.).

I just want to change the notification settings on that one comment, not turn it off altogether.
