How much time do you spend on custom thumbnails?

Hey what is up guys,

Just curious on how much time people spend on making their custom thumbnails, and how many of you guys don't even use a custom thumbnail.

I spend about 5 minutes on a thumbnail, and I try to get some information out of the title/gameplay into the picture. So tell me, do you make custom thumbnails? If yes, how much time do you spend on them?
 
about 30 seconds, I have a basic design all I do is take a frame from the video and change the colours and text of the basic design :)
 
well it depends, the actually first design can take me freaking days. for example the one for DS3 i worked on that for at least 5-6 hours to even come up with some kind of idea, but in the end i went with the band wagon and took the main picture. but i think i will be changing it soon or later, but after ive done the first design i only change the number of the episode :P

(sorry for wall of text, i studied graphic design so i enjoy to talk about these kinds of things :P)

Smart and a nice design!

So most people take about 5-10 seconds, while others take about 5-10 minutes. I think I'm good with the 5-10 minutes :)
 
I could have sworn I just answered a thread about this like 3 hours ago lol. Mine take me about 5-10 minutes. Depends on how long it takes me to find an image I like on google, and if I need to get a new font from Dafont or not.

lol everyone's different, and as you said before you studied graphic design, so you probably consider a lot more things than anyone else here does, and I'm sure a lot more little things bother you that we wouldn't even notice.
