How much money does a video make ?

So I recently signed up for an Adsense account, it was accepted blah blah blah they are sending a small amount of money for me to confirm etc .. There are somethings I don't understand.
1. How much money would a video make, saying it has 1000 views ?
2. Do clicks on my channel also make money or just videos ?
3. Do people really live of money from google ?
4. What are these "blocs" of advertisements ? I don't understand what they do or who they are for.

1. Not much, depends on how much Your videos are worth.
2. Hell naw.
3. People do, Id say the top 2000 people on youtube with partnerships live comfortably on their wages!

1) Anywhere for a few cent to a few dollars

3) Anyone with 2M+ views a month (if english) or 4M+ views a month (if not english) can easily live off YouTube revenue!

1) It really depends, with adsense, probably around $1-3.
2) Only monetized views will make you money

A single video can make up to 500 gil. Very nice. :P (LOL I had to)

Anyway, I'm going to guess about a dollar for 1,000 views, at least through AdSense. I don't think you get paid for channel clicks, and yes, people do live off of YouTube money.

I can't help with that last question.
 
1. For the purpose of discussion, I use $1 per 1,000 views.
2. Ads have to be presented in order for you to earn revenue. Clicking on your channel doesn't necessarily mean that an ad is shown. If an ad is presented, you should not be clicking on your own ads. You will lose your Adsense account.

4. Blocs? I'm not sure what that means.

you'll have to excuse me, because I'm french, and I was talking about the second page on the adsense website !
