How many views an hour?

I sometimes post it on my Twitter but yeah I get like 30 views per hour.
 
From what I understand it takes YouTube a while to absorb your video and tags into its search engine so search traffic won't start coming in immediately (probably not within the first few hours). It probably needs time to propagate it across all of its servers. Other than that you're left with subscriber traffic and whatever traffic you get from sharing your video on social media.

Personally I probably get 2 or 3 views an hour with a spike here and there but so far I haven't done any social media sharing of my videos.

But, I do have to point out that this was before everything that has happened to me lately, including the SEO classes I had to take as part of my job. So now I'm a little better with tagging and keywords and whatnot. I'm also more aware of how to share my videos and articles on social media.

Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ were all required on the contract, as far as sharing on social medias. Anything else, including Tumblr, Reddit, etc. was optional and would not result in immediate termination. Therefore, I got the one-up on Google+ before most other people did. I always posted my videos, much like my articles, immediately. As soon as they get uploaded/approved, I send them to social media with some catchy wording and a bunch of hashtags.

The articles are doing fantastic as far as SEO goes. They're usually on the second, and sometimes first page of Google searches when I look up a review for one of the games I wrote about. So those classes are paying off. Hopefully they'll work with my next batch of videos I make. :p

Usually that is cause I watch your video 3 times in a row.
 
I usually share it after i add anotations to the video to all social media i have and here on the forums also add it on my signature :) I usually get around 20-30 views on the first hour and then it slowly gets more views around the day
 
If your getting views per hour then count yourself lucky as lots of people are counting the views per day, We at the moment go by the rule of if we are getting 3 views per hour then our video is doing alright. It might be small to some but where we are at with our channel its about right!
