How many views an hour?

When first posting a new video on YouTube, How many views do you usually get an hour? Also, what strategies do you use to optimize your view count? Like do you share it on social media immediately or do you wait for the best time to share?
 
I usually upload my video, correct everything that needs to be fixed, share it on funnyjunk, (my videos do decently well on there) twitter, and other social media then wait for the views. Social media is the best way to get views.

yea, I usually upload fix the info, thumbnail, etc. then share on facebook, twitter, etc. Is there anything in particular that you do... like wait until 2:00pm to share on social media?
 
Some videos for me get a constant flow every day, some don't really get much :(. Hopefully I will be able to say an actual figure in the near future :D.
 
It usually takes around 8-12 hours to update the 302 counter, so I couldn't tell ya. I'm assuming a 10,000-20,000.
 
LOL... I'd get like, maybe 3 views in an hour if I was lucky. But, I do have to point out that this was before everything that has happened to me lately, including the SEO classes I had to take as part of my job. So now I'm a little better with tagging and keywords and whatnot. I'm also more aware of how to share my videos and articles on social media.

Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ were all required on the contract, as far as sharing on social medias. Anything else, including Tumblr, Reddit, etc. was optional and would not result in immediate termination. Therefore, I got the one-up on Google+ before most other people did. I always posted my videos, much like my articles, immediately. As soon as they get uploaded/approved, I send them to social media with some catchy wording and a bunch of hashtags.

The articles are doing fantastic as far as SEO goes. They're usually on the second, and sometimes first page of Google searches when I look up a review for one of the games I wrote about. So those classes are paying off. Hopefully they'll work with my next batch of videos I make. :P

Well to be fair they don't, but after like 6 hours I might have 5 or so people. Then the next day it will be up to 11ish..then it flatlines and doesn't grow.

Yep, my subs are all inactive but can't do much about that :D
