How Do You Get More Subs/Views?

Just a question I wanted to ask since I'm a small YouTuber. How long does it take for a smaller YouTube channel to gain subs? I've have my channel for like 2 weeks and have gotten a fair amount of views on my vids, but not a lot of subs gained from them. I only have 16 subs at the moment. I just want to know why I have a lot of views but like barely any subs or likes. I know it takes time but it's frustrating at the same time. Thanks for any feedback and tell me if I need to improve anything.

Just keep at it. It takes a long time to get a good following. Spend some time networking here and you will get some subscribers from it. You can also use places like reddit to promote yourself, but read their rules first, your promotions have to be less than 10% of all your posts on reddit.

With dedication comes rewards. Just keep making great videos and you will slowly start to see results.
 
Ask your viewers to subscribe at the end of your videos, a polite reminder will help you get more subscribers
