I've Got It
Hi Everyone,

I'm a total newbie and have been uploading for the past 7 weeks. I was wondering what people are doing to get more views as a newbie? (Or, how did you get views when you were a newbie)

All answers will be really appreciated!

Thanks,
Darren

I'm still at 16 subs only, so that might be irrelevant (I have one video only tho), but I basically write many posts in different Facebook groups (there's over 30 groups I keep posting in  they must hate me as hell) and Tweet about new videos (interacting with other YouTube users on Twitter is really helpful). Many people have built their fandoms using Twitter.
There are many tips out there like add eye-catching thumbnails (clickbait can be helpful if used correctly), regular uploading time and so on - I'm not an expert on those, there are actually even some threads here on this forum which share so many tips and tricks.
I've heard that some people use Reddit and other, similar sites to promote their videos, but I don't have any experience with those... I'm curious about the other people, this is really interesting topic.
