How do you find the time to YouTube?

For me I'm fortunate enough to have at least 1 hour a day at work free to work on stuff as well as 2 hours (if I'm lucky) on the train to work on it. Otherwise I'd never have time

Priorities.

Pretty much this. ^^

If you get up 30 minutes earlier, go to bed 30 minutes later and cut out 30 minutes of TV / internet / another activity, that gives you an extra hour a half per day, that's 10 hours per week extra. It's all about time management, priorities and motivation to grind it out every day. If someone really really wants something, they'll easily find the time. Good luck. :)

Hi, I work 9-6 every day, and run a business on the side and I still make time to post at least twice if not 3 times a week...it annoys the f**k out of my boyfriend but hey. Anyway, my suggestion would be to record 2-3 videos over the weekend and then spread them out with the "Schedule Upload" feature on YouTube. I usually record all of my videos on Saturday/Sunday and then have them upload throughout the week! It's a wonderful thing.
Lol it annoys my boyfriend too, totally get it! I really like this suggestion, seems like it could really work for me..

I make sure that I schedule the time every day that I have to film and edit. It's just like work or whatever chores I do on my off time...I make sure I get the things I want to do done.

I'm a full-time college student and I work part-time at a pizza restaurant, so it can be hard to find time. That said I can squeeze in practicing tricks and recording outros/vlogs at night. I record when I can, in between classes, before work, at church etc... If I plan ahead, I can bring my gear and record for multiple videos. I can edit at college between classes or at home at night.
It can be hard but I find the time.

I had the same sort of issue. Lacked motivation didn't really know how to go about it. But then last year I implemented a schedule and it made it easier. This year I have upload days, the type of videos that come out on those days and a time. I always upload the night before and my videos are out by 4pm. In my opinion scheduling worked wonders, because it helped me to gain traction on ideas and storyboard before I ran out of time.

So basically say I had a video planning on coming out on Wednesday at 4pm. Then I would spend 1 day storyboarding, or if it was a vlog on an event or something similar understanding what i want to film. Once the filming is done I would spend the night editing and then uploading that same night for the next day.

I upload 3 times a week, so basically I have 3 days dedicated to youtube and the rest of the week I work part time. It took a while and it was difficult especially last year with high school, but once you have a basic idea the time management is developed slowly to suit yourself. Well that's how it worked for me. I still have issues but it gets easier.

Good Luck!!

During the summer I don't normally have a problem sticking to my schedule(It's easy to follow when I have time), but during the school year it gets really hard because all of my upload days are during the week and I do gaming so it's hard to record enough during the weekend to be able to edit and upload on the right days unless I have hardly any homework that week. Highschool, man :/

My channel is based on life experiences and captured memories so I just bring my camera every time I go out with my friends to do something interesting or with my family on vacations. I desire to share the memories with the people who experienced them with me motivates me to edit it fairly quickly.

I try to spend every free time I have dedicated to YouTube. I work full time, have to travel for long distance relationship most weekend so I skip out on sleep to get video's out. You just gotta be realistic try having a goal of two videos a week and increase it if you have more free time. YouTube is a lot of dedicated hours of hard work
