How do you feel about tag videos?

If you're unfamiliar with the concept... it's generally a list of questions to answer, then at the end of the video, you tag other YouTubers to do it.

I find them a lot of fun, and I'm always flattered when someone tags me. Often I do tag videos even when I haven't been tagged by anyone else.

I also think it's a good way to make YouTube friends and build a little community around your channel.

Examples of tag videos:
TMI Tag
First Date Tag (I uploaded this one today!!)
Best Friend Tag
etc etc

Personally, I feel there isn't anything wrong with them. I might think that if someone's channel is solely based on that, then they don't have any original ideas, which is fine, if it's what they enjoy doing. It's a great way to connect, and include other people. Not to mention it's a nice way to get a little promotion on the side as well! :D
 
It sounds like the equivalent of dual-commentary for gamers. To be honest, there are some that seem overdone, but I don't mind them at all.

I think it's a good way for people to get to know youtubers. But once you start doing tags, it's hard to stop, they're so easy! :giggle:
 
I think they look cool, they're a way to build connections in the community, and it's a neat little bit of material for your channel! I haven't been involved in any yet, so I can't elaborate greatly xD
 
The evolution of tag videos seems to have resulted in anyone who wants to do the tag just doing it (which is good... shouldn't have to wait around to be tagged) That being said, I'm neither for nor against them. The chances that I will watch one depend entirely on how much I like the YouTuber making the video.
