How do vloggers collaborate?

I was thinking something like the two vloggers plan out a script, follow it, chop their own video up into the relevant pieces then label each piece "Vlogger A 1", "Vlogger B 2", "Vlogger A 3", "Vlogger B 4". Vlogger B can be all the even numbers. Vlogger B sends their clips to Vlogger A and Vlogger A puts them all together into a video, with the clips in order so the entire video flows smoothly. Once the video's edited, Vlogger A can send the final mix to B. Any adjustments/disputes can be resolved between the two over the final product and once it's all done, both can upload. A site like wetransfer.com is good for sending video clips to each other because you have a 2GB limit, which should be more than enough for a little video between vloggers

Well the way Luke Conard (in LA) and Kristina Horner (in Seattle) did it .. they scripted out their vlog, each would record their part and then I think Luke would edit the footage together.
 
I know that feeling, when I'm asked to collab with someone that I can't sit in the room with, I feel like the video format gets really limited.

Some ideas I've seen are, telephone conversations, conversations where you just throw back and forth to each other discussing a topic.
